I have assisted with and run many tournaments in the Rutland Area. I have all of the equipment as well as the experience to either assist you in running a tournament or running the tournament for you.

Running Your Tournament

After helping with as many tournaments as I have, I am able to help your organization make money as well as taking care of the players that are supporting you. Proper tournament structure and payouts is very important, players will not return to support your fundraiser if they feel the tournament was run poorly.

What do I provide when running your tournament?

  • A computer system with LCD projector and screen so that players can see current tournament information in an easy to read format.
  • 5,500 marked chips for play.
  • Dealer Buttons.
  • Chip trays
  • I can provide you with a digital poster that your organization can bring to a local printer and have printed. Sample
  • I provide a custom calculator that will figure player payouts based on tournament structure and quantity of players. This is also important for tournament with rebuys and addons.
  • I also bring all of the necessary paperwork that is needed for running the tournament.

What do you provide for your tournament?

  • Advertising - you know your area and are responsible for this very important part. Advertising needs to be started at least 1 month prior to your tournament.
  • Tables - 5-6 foot smooth, clean, round tables without a "lip" on the edge is best. There should be 1 table for every 10 players you expect.
  • You will need to provide 4-5 people that will be able to be present from 3 hours prior to the start of the tournament until cleanup is done. I encourage organizations to provide as many people as they would like, players like to see the people that they are supporting. If the fundraiser is for a youth group the group is encouraged to be there for the start of the tournament and the the parents will stay to assist with the tournament.
    • The group of people that you provide do not need to know how to play the game. They will be instructed on what each of them can do to make it a smooth and successful event. When a tournament is run properly players will return and support you when you hold your next tournament.
